He brings 18 years of investment-industry experience and has been instrumental in capitalizing and publicly listing world-class companies, raising over $750 million for five early-stage companies — including more than $250 million across ag, wellness and CPG. Licensed as an investment advisor in 2008, he spent six years at two leading independent Canadian brokerage firms and holds the Chartered Investment Manager designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.

A founding partner of Dunn, Pariser & Peyrot, one of the top business management firms in Los Angeles, Mr. Dunn has a track record of building highly successful agribusinesses throughout North America and other international jurisdictions over more than 20 years. He and his firm have won multiple industry awards for accounting, finance and business management.

More than 25 years in CPG strategy, M&A and plant-based innovation. Mr. Coles led Verdient Foods — a 100,000 MT pulse fractionation and milling facility — through its growth and successful sale to Ingredion (NYSE: INGR), validating the team's ability to execute high-value infrastructure plays in the plant-based food sector.

Nick Grafton

Nick Grafton, CFA

Independent Director · Audit Committee Chair

Mr. Grafton has over 14 years of investment, finance and public-markets experience. Previously a Portfolio Manager for a Canadian-based hedge fund managing cannabis and energy portfolios, he began his career as an Investment Banker at Canaccord Genuity Corp., financing and advising small- to mid-cap companies. He is a CFA charterholder with a finance degree from Michigan State University.

Desmond Balakrishnan

An experienced capital-markets and securities lawyer, Mr. Balakrishnan advises clients across food, beverage, agribusiness, gaming, entertainment and hospitality. One of Canada's leading gaming-law practitioners — most recently counsel to Great Canadian Gaming — he advises on private equity, public offerings, M&A and listed-company maintenance, acts as counsel on new issues and listings across all Canadian stock exchanges, and is the national leader of McMillan LLP's gaming group.
